Tisha B'Av — the Ninth day of the Hebrew month of Av — is the Jewish National Day of Mourning. It commemorates the destruction of our Temples in Jerusalem 2,000-plus years ago, as well as many more tragedies that befell the Jewish people over time, now, sadly, including October 7th. Tisha B’Av is a day when we abstain from daily pleasures like food and drink, and we spend time discussing the themes of Exile and Redemption. Please join us at the Aish Center for our inspiring program of prayer, talks and exclusive films to help you find and feel meaning in a day of mourning and sadness. Communal prayer is an effective way to connect deeply with the heaviness of the day while helping repair our world.

11:30 am After October: Stories of Loss, Survival and Unbreakable Faith, a film by Aish Global. Jamie Geller takes us on a journey through heartbreak and heroism to discover what it means to carry grief with courage, where pain becomes purpose and faith endures though the story of four heroic Jews.
